The Bogen/Manfrotto 055XWNB Tripod Legs with 486RC2 Compact Ballhead replaces the 3221WN Wilderness tripod. In addition to the redesigned ergonomics of the leg-angle release mechanism and improved quick action leg locks, it also features retractable spiked feet, which makes it more versatile for outdoor use. It is lightweight and portable enough to take into the field, yet strong enough for medium format cameras, small view cameras, spotting scopes and the latest generation of digital video cameras. The 055XWNB provides speedy set-up coupled with added security with quick action, lever-type leg locks, four position legs spread, low angle adapter, leg warmers, and retractable spiked feet. The 486RC2 Compact Ballhead features a strong die-cast aluminum housing plus an exceptionally hard, tough, phenolic resin ball that moves smoothly into position. A single lever offers complete control over the 360° pan/90° tilt movements, fast even movement, and locks off instantly in any position. Suitable for any 35mm SLR or light medium format camera.
