"I haven't done the voltage and charge-discarge test to test it right (and am not the guy to do that,) but I sell batteries, solar electric products and such for a living, and the sound, action and ultimate performace so far is killer. If you get, let's say, B&D 'Firestorm' 18 volt batteries, the charger is DUMB and doesn't know when the battery is charged, when to lay off the battery and keep a voltage-sustaini..." "For the Tradesperson in New Zealand: Be aware that if you use this 120v charger on big job sites, you have to get it tagged that it's safe and that you'll continually have to do this.

Needs a transformer to convert from 120v. "
