"We record mostly to the hard drive. I haven't recorded a dvd as of yet. Our location has no cable nor will have in near future. This is to record satellite or Hdtv. So far good results! "

"The discs that were output from dubbing from HDD to DVD were not compatible with my computer players. I did set the unit to finalize the discs but this did not help. "
