"After reading the mostly good reviews for this tv I decided to purchase because I needed a "sturdier" television for my grandson's bedroom, the DVD/Digital tuner were very attractive features for the price also. Alas, the DVD player stopped working after less than 24 hours but since the TV picks up quite a few channels on its own and a converter box wasn't needed I suppose it is worth what I paid for it.
