The Magellan Traffic Kit enables your Magellan RoadMate 2200T or Magellan CrossoverGPS to automatically receive live traffic updates and route you around traffic problems whenever a quicker route is available. The TraffiKit's FM antenna sends LIVE traffic reports received from NAVTEQ NavTraffic directly to your Magellan RoadMate 2200T or Magellan CrossoverGPS and uses this information to make calculations adjusting the time and distance to destination and re-calculating your route if a quick way is available. On-screen icons show the location of traffic problems such as accidents, road construction, lane reductions, slow-downs, narrowed roads and more. Touch an icon for detailed information about the traffic problem.

I recently bought a crossover gps and the traffic service doesn't work in the Baltimore/DC area as advertised. After reading some product reviews on other sites it looks like others have had the same problems in other metro areas. "
