A Real bargain

"Not perfect, but then, I haven't found ANY GPS unit from ANY manufacturer at ANY price that was. I have had car navigation GPS units from all the major manufacturers and they all have some short comings. But let's focus on the Magellan 3100 for this review. "I bought this unit before embarking on a three hour trip across two states. 20 minutes into the trip the thing lost all satellites just as we were trying to navigate through an unfamiliar town. It stayed off for the next two hours trying to track satellites.
