"These are ok if you sit close & play them at low levels. If you are 5 or 6 feet away & expect them to fill your room with music you're going to be disappointed. At normal music levels all you're going to get is distortion. I have the AOpen MA-691 (which are cheaper)and they are a little bit louder & less distorted.
