"FIRST LOOK. Impressive in the box. Lots of LED's greeting you in an attractive housing. Trial batteries are included as are diffuser and 3200k gels. Pop in the batteries and , WOW.. its bright! PROS. A very easy to use 'eye/nose' light. Easily dimmable with virtually no color shift. OK but overpriced

"Bought this as an intended upgrade from my Sony HVL-20DW2. It is a larger light and has longer useful battery life (4 hours with 4 fresh AA's vs. 2 hours with Sony NFP960 in the Sony light). It doesn't get hot like the Sony light. The gel holder is also a great addition, and vital due to the light's daylight color temp and its primary usefulness being indoors. "This light puts out a nice soft and wide fill. I actually use it with a external 7.2 volt RC car battery pack. (I rigged the plugs and connectors together...very simple)
