"I purchased this drive in hopes of upgrading my DVD drive but I can't open ANY DVD's and it lags opening CD's, I have tried everything that Liteon has suggested and still it is unusable. The bundled software is only a trial and if you want to view DVD's you have to buy an upgraded version of Roxio. "I installed this drive in an IBM Netvista running Windows XP and it works great. I installed it so I can upgrade the computer too Windows Vista and now the computer complies with the Vista requirements. The only thing I didn't like is how noisy the drive can be. Other than that it's a good buy "
