"You can NEVER go wrong with Taiyo Yuden. I used to buy anything that's cheap or on sale years ago. But I learned my lesson. So what if it's cheap, it doesn't matter if it doesn't work. You're just throwing money away. I switched to Taiyo Yuden and never looked back. Never had a single problem since I switched. "I chose to invest in higher quality DVD-R media for backing up my DVD collection. After reading many guides and reviews, Taiyo Yuden media seemed to be the best available. The 16X discs I purchased work well when burning at 8X speed, but 16X is out of the question.
