"My neighbor has an old Dell Inspiron 1000 laptop. It had a 5-6 yr old linksys notebook adaptor that just couldn't "find" the new Linksys Wireless-N router. So I came to Beach for a new Linksys WPC600N notebook adaptor. Plugged it in when it came and connection was seamless and immediate and they were on the internet and very happy about that...." "I tried this wireless "N" card product under MS-XP and MS-Vista to a Dlink DIR655 wireless router in order see if I can get better throughput than my wireless "G" cards. Under XP/Vista and I got same room connection indications at 270Mbs, actual file copy throughput was about 2 to 3 Mb/s. "I had two problems with the network monitor software. It doesn't configure properly for my corporate lan (peak doesn't have enough parameters). When I did set it up for my home lan, the monitor would just die and my system would lock up. Get something else or wait for revision 2 of the software. "

This is the first adapter I have ever used with bad interface. They should work more to improve it since I couldn't find any updates from Linksys Website.
