"Not sure what the previous rater is talking about, I have this burner and carried it with my netbook on a long vacation in my knapsack. Both survived, it has great features, is powered via USB. It is not the fastest burner but what do you expect from something so small and light and USB powered.

"I am very happy with this DVD Drive. It has exceeded all me epectations and does a very good job. The only dissapointment I had is that it is powered by the USB which is good for portability but bad when Im running out of ports. "
