"Dont know if I am just that lucky or what, but I have used LG in many of my biulds and as replacements and have not had any problems with them, some of the fastest and quitest drives out there for this price range, I hardly ever use the software that comes with them maybe that is it. also it works great with W7 RC 64bit...." "Nice hardware. But the software is poison. It's even bundled like that so everything downloads before you get the lightscribe part that is last of course and it don't tell you where it is on the disc, scam disc. That's all I wanted on disc. "Writes at 16x/20x but reads at an average of 5x.
Read Speed varies but the max has been 7x for a burst of about 5 seconds.
Garbage product & garbage manufacture support.
800 support blamed my hard drives. Web support blamed my drivers. (ASUS burner works fine)
Would cost almost as much to ship
