"This would have been a 5 star if it weren't for LG Tech Support. My drive originally read and burned CDs fine, and read DVDs fine, but refused to burn DVDs. My first call to LG tech support (open 8 am to midnight) led to my finding out that they're really only open 8 am to 8 pm. My second call (before 8 pm) led to two incorrect "fixes". "This is my first dvd burner. I had no problem installing it. It was up and running within 10 minutes with no issues. I updated the firmware and off it went. I can't comment on the LightScribe feature because I haven't tried it yet. Everything else works beautifully. Very satisfied with this drive. "

"Took less than 5 minutes to install and have up and running. Does everything it is supposed to quickly and very quietly.
Great drive for the price.
Only thing that could be better, is the disc tray when open is a little flimsy, could be made much stronger.
Other than that, no complaints here.
