"Now that BD has "won" the format war, it makes total sense to buy a burner that writes Blu-Ray and still reads HD-DVD. This LG unit, mounted in a SATA-supporting enclosure, just worked when I brought it up under both Mac OS X 10.5.x "Leopard" and Windows XP.

"I bought this a few months back, and have been using it hard core, since I received it, It is very well built, and runs extremely quiet. It can burn a 25Gb BD-RW in about 20Min, and a 50GB BD-R in about 20-25Min, Definitively a product I would recommend to any media enthusiast. "
