"This drive does it all; DVDs, CDs and LightScribe.
Worried about whether or not you got the proper media? Not an issue with this drive as it will burn the plus "+" and minus "-" dvds, the dual layer dvds and the Ram dvds so you can't go wrong.
It also works with both R and RW media (DVDs and CDs)

"I really like this unit- my computer is old and the cd/dvd burner flat lined about a year ago. Made it difficult to use I-tunes! This new unit was plug and play. I haven't used the light scribe yet- not sure I will, but its a bonus for the price. "
