"This has probably has got to be the best 1080p LCD you can get for under $250. I returned a Dell S2309W and swapped it for this and wow, what a difference. The picture quality is simply stunning. It's got some really in-depth controls options and it actually allows you to reduce the gamma - something the Dell wouldn't let me do and the image from my Mac suffered because of it. "Colors are bright and saturated, without excessively sacrificing image detail in shadows or faiintly lit scenes. I also like the red LED, "light touch" on/off switch. Sofware that comes with the monitor is of little use over the controls that come with the video card driver suite.
