"It had one stuck red pixel out of the box, but those are easily removed by using the UDPixel program available free online. About 20 minutes later, stuck-pixel free. I own two LG monitors from the previous "generation", a L222WT and L196WT. "I bought this monitor about two months ago on advice from a friend that liked LG to replace a sick CRT monitor. He seems to know what he's talking about so I basically didn't even consider another brand. Bad idea. "Right out of box brightness is set to 100%...you need to turn it down...it is hard on eyes. The widescreen view takes a little getting used too, but once you do it is very enjoyable. 19" is perfect for office/internet....any larger and you are turning your head to read information. "
