"This player just clips on to the side of any crib and plays any cd you want your child to go to sleep with. The handy slide up guard keeps little fingers out, and has a great timer so you don't waste batteries. I have used mine every night since he was born and he is 15 months now. "I think having a CD player attached to the crib is a great idea for developing children. Unfortunately, this CD player runs through batteries extremely fast and has a skipping problem. We usually replace the batteries every 3 days, which becomes a pain. Our player also has a skipping problem and can only be fixed by opening the player and cleaning the CD thoroughly every night.
