I made sure all the readings were the same and then I put the remote sensor outside. Worked perfectly the first time. I'm surprised how high our humidity is! "I bought this for my parents.
The set-up is easy (no syncing steps), just plug and go. My main difficulty was that the two units constantly read a different outdoor temperature (as transmitted from the single outdoor weather station). The signal would also go in and out on the nearest receiver.
