"A classic standard B&W film developer. This is my "go to" B&W film developer for most B&W films. The 1 gallon pack is a good value. Store well.
The only thing that I don't like is that it need to be mix at a higher than room temp water.

"Sure you can find "better" film developers. It depends on your needs and taste. For me, D-76 tried and proven way to develop films. I shot not for experement or sake of shotting itself. I want stable predictable results and D-76 delivers.

"Used with Tri-X, D-76 provides smooth grained, low contrast negatives.
Rate Tri-X at ISO 200, process 8 min at 68 degrees.
