the sound is clear, and the speakers are very good for a small room or office. the remote is nice, and it has the ability, though i haven't used it, to pump video out through an s-video hookup.

Compact, nice bass, clear sound. AC transformer has standard line with two prong plug so it doesn't eat up 2 or three sockets on a powerstrip

Remote is Infra-Red based, would have liked a radio controlled remote as it requires line of site.

Sound is great, very compact, worked with my five year old iPod.
Cons
Always tries to recharge the iPod, no way to just have the iPod sit in the cradle without charging unless you unplug the device.
