Klipsch Audio 8-Inch 300 Watt Powered Subwoofer - XW-300D Review

"The Klipsch is a good sounding subwoofer. Installs easily, easy to set up with its digital menu. It's forward firing and non-adjustable which isn't an issue for me, I prefer it that way. The bass is a little "boomey", not as much as other subwoofers, but not as clean as, say, the Martin Logan Dynamo …" Read Full Review »

"I own a pair of the XF-48's, which for most music a sub is not necessary. When I dropped this in though, I was blown away by the depth it added to both music and movies. Home theater speakers are Klipsch Icons XBs (5), Sony ES receiver, with Monster wires and Monster Line conditioner, Sony 52" …" Read Full Review »

The subwoofer does not deliever as much power and bass as the klipsch sub12 though which you can get for a cheaper price. That subwoo …" Read Full Review »

"This Klipsch has beautiful, clear bass. Not rumble-y like the cheaper subwoofers. It's also pretty efficient. However, it's way overpriced. The Martin Logan Dynamo has equally as beautiful sound and it's cheaper (and probably also overpriced). "
