"It had been a while so I was surprsed when I went to look for a 6.5" bookshelf speaker that these were all that was available anywhere for under $100 list price each. I used to work in the Auto Sound industry and know that to get ANY bass you need at least a 6.5" speaker. "I had to replace a rather nice pair of 6 1/2" book shelf speakers and needed something quick and cheap. If I was still in NYC instead of rural nowhere, a replacement driver would have been a much better chice. The KLH are inexpensive, and thats how they sound. I use a decent sub-woofer so bottom is not a issue. They function and thats about it. Freq. Response has huge holes. EQ wont really fix it. However, they ..." Read Full Review »
