"Bought these high powered (500 watts max.) speakers to go with my Kenwood MP-238 (50 watts per channel--4 channel), and I believe that these babies have great, all-around sound. Don't get me wrong, they could push out a little more bass... But if you listen to Rock, Country, or ANYTHING other than Bass Dominate music you should like these speakers. "I bought these and the Kenwood 6 1/2" for my 2007 Accord, which bestbuy said they would fit in. After installiing, the grills would not fit back in b/c the tweeters were too high. Two days later I exchanged them for a set of Alpine 6X9 speakers, which not only fit perfectly but sounded a whole lot better as well. They made these Kenwood speakers look horrible. "Put these in the rear of 04 Corolla. Def much better than my stock speakers (seeing how one of them was busted) They put out a good amount of bass, not an excessive amount but enough for my taste.
