The Kata DR-467 Digital Rucksack features TST RIB structural protection for two digital SLR cameras, one with mounted lens, 3-4 additional lenses, flash, accessories, laptop computer with a screen up to 17", and personal gear. The padded bottom camera insert can be removed to convert the rucksack from a camera bag to a daypack, when you're not shooting. The main compartment holds a digital SLR in top grip position while the modular dividers system will separate, organize and protect lenses, flashes and other accessories. The large top compartment will hold personal gear or additional equipment, and the internal pockets and MP3 player pouch will allow organization of personal effects. The are external pockets that allow quick-zippered access to supplies, and a water bottle/tripod support pocket pulls out from a side pocket. The included Elements Rain Cover folds neatly away into an integrated pocket, and can be hung out to dry on the small buckle next to the handle, or tucked away for storage in one of the pockets. The bag is carried by a carrying handle, backpack harness, chest belt and balancing waist strap.

Packs a Punch

"As a newly working photojournalist, I need a backpack to carry my notebook plus by basic gear which comprises a Canon 1Dmk2, 30D, 17-40, 70-200, a flash and spare batteries. Fully loaded, this bag can handle it all, with both bodies and lenses in the lower compartment. The upper compartment holds the rest. In the notebook slot fits my 15" Lenovo notebook and power adapter. When on a job where both cameras are ou..." Read Full Review »

Quality design with a few flaws

"I did significant research before buying this backpack. I wanted a good compromise between accessibility, ability to hold upwards of 3-4 lenses, to hold my laptop and personal items; and then the obvious, like comfort, durability, etc. First impressions upon receiving this backpack were that it's designed and built well, and had a good feel overall. However, after taking it on a three-hour trek to test it out at..." Read Full Review »

"In my search for the perfect camera bag, I first tried the Lowepro 250 because I've been very happy with the brand's quality in the past. Overall, I would say that the Lowepro is a very good bag, but the problem is that the Lowepro 250 was just too big for me to wear comfortably when loaded with a l …"  Read Full Review »

"A case is something you should see in person before you buy, but I did not find the perfect laptop/dslr bag at my local stores. I decided to give this one a shot and have been very pleased. "I bought this bag so that when I traveled home from school, I wouldn't have to carry 2 bags + clothing - 1 bag for my laptop (normal backpack), 1 bag for my camera stuff (Slingshot 200), and a suitcase. This bag works perfectly for that purpose. The laptop compartment is very large and well design …"  Read Full Review »
