very well.Check for dial accuracy,Kaito is hit or miss

on alignment.Also be aware that portable sets are not

protected against static charges - be careful not to

walk across a rug and then pull up the whip antenna,you'll

trash the radio. "

"The radio is nice to use. Read any review on it and for the price, it doesn't get any better. My tuning indicator is quite a bit off. If I want to listen to 95.3, the indicator is on 96.5. I just pay little attention to it. "

"This Radio was a big Surprise !!

For the Price it performs right along side a grundig G5. Am and Fm band - Not any better but certainly as good. With head phones ( ear buds )it was easier to hear - but that was the same for both radios.
