"This boompole is great for getting up close and personal audio while filming without dropping too much cash. Very lightweight, which matters a lot when having to hold it over a shot. The integrated cord makes it very easy to use. The only signs that this is a more uh reasonably priced boompole are that the lock rings are a bit confusing to figure out, and sometimes the microphone mount bolt at the end works..." "This lasted only two shoots before the internal cable got uncoiled. Now the only way to fully retract the sections is to pull extra cable out from the top, which won't fit back down the tube. Extra cable at the top means extra noise as the cable clanks against the pole. I don't recommend this product...." Read Full Review »

"This lasted only two shoots before the internal cable got uncoiled. Now the only way to fully retract the sections is to pull extra cable out from the top, which won't fit back down the tube. Extra cable at the top means extra noise as the cable clanks against the pole.

"It's basically ok but won't collapse all the way after use. The cable inside seems to be what prevents it from fully collapsing. I've twisted and turned it both ways but can't seem to get it back to its original fully collapsed length. "
