The XL-FZ258BK is a 5-disc carousel CD changer. It includes a full function remote and a 10-key pad on the front of the unit for easy track selection. An optical digital output is included for connection to a digital recording device, such as a CD-R/RW or Mini Disc. Up to 32 steps (track and disc) can be programmed, while Continuous, "Smart" random and Program-play provide flexible listening options. Additionally, the XL-FZ258BK has 4-way repeat - all tracks, single track, programmed tracks, and random play. Up to four of the discs can be changed while the XL-FZ258BK plays the fifth disc. A headphone output with volume control is included, as is a remote with DISC keys and numeric keys.

It is what to expect.

"I have a great sounding system. It's not expensive but it is the better of the lesser priced. My Sony [*] out and this was to replace it. I didn't expect much for the price and I got what I expected. All in all it is a decent deck for someone who is not a sound enthusiast. Not a very crisp high end. "I am very happy with this CD player , however I noticed on the carton that this product had been " refurbushed " and was not new. I don't recall seeing any mention of this in the ad. I like it enough to not send it back, but I paid a brand new price for it , got something less than brand new. "
