The JVC (Refurbished) HR-S5902 is a high resolution Super VHS (S-VHS) VCR. The Super VHS format offers over 400 lines of horizontal resolution for a 60% better picture than the ordinary VHS (video home system) video format. With the newly developed Super VHS ET (Expansion Technology), the VCR has the ability to record a Super VHS quality signal on standard VHS tape.
