"** UPDATE 5/11/2009 ** Oh how I wish I could post a HD video sample. We took this camera with us to my Mom's house for Mother's Day and the video (esp. outdoor) was just priceless quality; I am amazed at how much detail shows on our 42" Plasma HDTV (42" Samsung 1080i)--it just "pops" and hows every possible detail. "The camera is light and easy to use. The navigation of the menus is good once you get used to it. Video in good light with little motion looks good. Anything with a lot of motion (sports, racing, etc) you need to have the camera on the highest quality setting or the picture looks really pixely.
