"I purchased this camera in August after doing extensive research. My current uses are outdoor high school football games and home videos of the nephews. Good product, some limitations

"I find the picture quality to excellent. It has a lot of motion blur in 1080 30p mode, so watch your pan speed and shutter speed. The biggest detraction is the zoom control(s). The ring control is flaky, and the zoom switch is poorly set up making it difficult to pull a slow zoom.
