Boom snapped in two with counter weight.

"Please do not extend the boom. It is too light weight to hold 5 lbs or more. I had a 3.5 lb. monolight with halfdome on the boom. The metal clamp snapped in two after about one year of use. "

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
