"This is a bare bones drive with only the USP port though not very compact I was able to install it right out of the box. I'm using it as a add on to my Buffalo NAS and it so far seems to perform well with faster write speeds than my Lacie (being newer I guess) Only drawback is its not very compact and not made to stand vertically. "Hooking up this drive is a breeze. Simply Connect it to a USB 2.0 port and VISTA Home 64bit instantly recognizes it as a Mass Storage Device and assigns it a Drive letter. Transfer rate is incredible as I transferred a 5gig video file to the Iomega in 1min 20sec. (Yes I timed it!)

"Ordered mine last week and it cae yesterday. Setting this up is about as hard as changing a light bulb. Comes with 2 plugs, a power adapther and a USB cable. Plug it in and Windows XP saw it with no worries. A few seconds to install and you are off and running.
