"As a 500GB external usb drive... it's pretty darn good. almost inaudible. Missing some features that other external drives call standard. Cannot be powered off of usb ports alone(12 volt power supply, so can't even hack a DIY cable). Has a cheesy white led for on/activity. has only USB 2 connector(no firewire or eSATA :-(). "First, this drive is too cheap. I wanted to buy a more expensive one that would impress my buddies, but my old lady is all like, you gotta buy the one at Radio Shack cuz its big and cheap, like you.
