"I bought this item for the sole purpose of mass personal media storage. I am quite pleased with its plug-n-play ability and the ease of transferring files to it. "Pros
Got this on sale, so it was a good deal. It's works well and the backup software is good too.. i can even back-up my documents online and access them from anywhere. Speed seems reasonable - movies play to my laptop well from it through a usb hub.

"The user manual is on line, doesn't come with the equipment. Learning how to set up things like partitions etc, take some research time etc. The back-up was easier with Vista than with the older windows software, ie xp. "
