"My few year old Dell 4700 died last fall with bizarre symptoms. Although I tried to diagnose the problems then, I was unsuccessful. I purchased a Gateway Quad 6600, loaded it with my back ups and continued on. Last weekend I gave the Dell one final try before making it landfill. "I have a home office setup with two Macs that I need to switch between with one keyboard, mouse and monitor. I looked on Best Buy's web site and found this item that does switch USB based K/M and video with audio and is "Mac Compatible".
