"I teach using Powerpoint and use this device daily in classrooms. No complaints. It can do its job from the back of the class - max range seems to be about 30-40 feet.
This doesn't run on AAA batteries, so be prepared to fork out a few bucks for battery replacement.

"Adequate device; it does the job in most cases. One of the fragile tabs on the battery cover broke and now it has scotch tape on it. "It seems to work fine when tested in my office, but when I went to the presentation room, it worked very erratically, and would respond only from 3 feet away. The coin battery is not a good idea, and the battery cover is so fragile and now it is broken after a drop. "
