"Imagine a clock radio that does not stay illuminated unless you turn on radio/ipod/or aux. This alone makes this "clock radio" useless for anyone who may want to use your "clock radio" to actually tell time. In fact the clock face is so dark that even in daylight it is difficult to see the time. Pressing the back light/sleep/snooze button gives you 5 seconds to see the time.
