"I have had an HDTV (also purchased from Best Buy) for two and a half years. I had purchased it when flat panel technology was in its infancy and therefore very pricey. "This is a good TV; plasma certianly has overall richer, deeper colors and without being washed out at different viewing angles which is quite impressive on this set. However the sound lacks in a big way; the design I prefer is with side mounted speakers rather than bottom which the majority of flat panel sets seems to have.
