"I bought both this 32" set and the Sony 32" set ($689) This is the FAR better choice. 1) The pictures of each are both exceptional, and indistiguishable from each other. This Insignia is actually manufactured by LG, and is first class. 2) The Sony Menu forces you to do twice as many button pushes to make on-screen picture and other adjustments-- you have to keep clicking back to the menu to change your choice-- ..." "I bought this set as a birthday present for myself in March 2007. Everything was great until about a month ago. Some red pixels started showing up on the screen, especially in highlighted areas. Now, the picture is so distorted and blurry you can't really make out what you're watching.
