"I didnt expect much after purchasing these for my outside deck. They were only twenty five bucks and of course they are a no name brand that is only made for best buy stores. I was amazed at the sound that these reproduced on my deck. Bass isnt that bad, its not going to pound in the ground, but a nice response with rock and jazz that is coming from a 4inch woofer (and I have my bass set at zero). Highs are nice..." "I was looking to set up a home theater for a low price and went with Insignias. They worked well through 10 or 15 feet of speaker wire, (no lag).
