"I watch a lot of movies on my laptop as well as listen to a lot of music. I wasn't even in the market for any speakers for my laptop but happened to see these at my local Best Buy. "I picked these up so I could play downloaded video clips as part of training so my audience could hear better than with the laptops speakers. These just don't have the power to be audible for a room of 20 people. For personal use, I think they'll be great, but not to use to amplify the laptops audio during training sessions.
