"I did a lot of research before buying a portable DVD player. The most important factors for me were screen size, sound, and value. This player has a nice sized screen. The definition isn't super but still very good. The screen can swivel which is a nice touch. The sound coming through my Sony MDR-V6 headphones is fantastic. "I went to a Best Buy and tried each of the portable DVD players they had. This one had the biggest and best screen, and seemed to be the best. . At this Best Buy, they only had 2 in stock, and both were open-box. One of the open-box returns had a sticker on it that said it was a return, but didn't have all the parts - it was discounted.
