"I use it with a speed light for back grounds. It's clean, simple, sturdy, has a small footprint, and folds up to almost nothing. I have also tested the base, briefly, as a holder for a Bogen magic arm and it seems stable enough to be used that way, too (but I haven't tested extensively). That fact would make this a great value to me, saving me the cost of buying a Bogen C stand (at about the same price) to hold ..." Read Full Review »

"I use this smaller stand with a relector aimed up at objects and people I'm taking portraits of. Very compact, easy to move, easy access, fits right along with my lighting equipment in carry bags. "

"This back groundstand, is all metal and comes with a thirty-six inch riser. One of the legs has a threaded hole for a mount to be put there. This allows the lowest possible placment for a flash head. I would highly recommend this product to anyone, even the guy I assist for. "
