"I have bought both the Ikelite and the Canon housing for this camera. While the Canon housing is nice and compact, it's nowhere near as sturdy or rugged in it's construction. "I just recently upgraded to this housing from the Canon housing for the same camera. I love the fact that this housing is so sturdy and can handle the bumps and bangs of diving with me. The camera is fully functional in this housing and works great. I'm totally sold on it! "
