"You're ordering two pieces of plastic. That's about it. It isn't the most secure thing in the world, but you're more protected than if you bought a soft case. IMO, it could use a bit more plastic to it (thickness) for some added protection, but it still works.

"I would definitely recommend this case. I've had it for about a month. It makes my ipod touch (2G) look very sleek without adding much width or weight to it. Easy to put on and looks very sturdy without taking away from the ipod's cool appearance (as most other cases do - silicone, leather, etc.) "
