"Important:

save yourself alot of time and frustration

Download Windows XP service pack 2 immediately as this was not pre-installed on mine and led to a lot of time-wasting problems. Once I did this and bought and inserted a PNY 1 GB ram upgrade --- the machine runs really well. "
