"I purchased these speakers to replace a set of inexpensive in-wall speakers (I had purchased at a big box home center) that weren't able to handle the watts from my amp. The HD-W65 seemed to be excellent quality construction with a huge magnet and swivel tweeter. The speakers were able to handle all the power I could throw at them with my 120w/chanel amp.
