"While I cannot determine whether this is a software (e.g. driver) or hardware problem, I will note that the mouse, in close proximity to the USB transmitter, frequently fails to allow me to select text or location across Microsoft apps - Office Outlook 2007 and Office Word 2007, on HP Pavilion notebook running Windows Vista, 64-bit system. Extensive research has not yielded solution, and HP site is not helpful...." Read Full Review »

"I would definitely not recommend this mouse. It constantly just stops working and you have to either pull out the usb and put back in or you have to pull out the battery and put it back in. The only good thing about this mouse is that it tracks very well but not worth the money. "
